The Beam Sahayak will be providing various Beam services to the subscribers in her locality as well as selling Beam Prepaid Gift-Shopping Cards* to them.

Beam Prepaid Cards are similar to the prepaid cards sold by the telecom companies and are used in a similar fashion.
           
What Are The Various Services Which The Customer Can Avail Of After Purchasing Beam Prepaid Gift-Shopping Card?
A customer first needs to register FREE of cost with Beam by simply sending an SMS. So, it means there is no paper work required for the same. To transact, the subscriber would have to purchase a Beam Prepaid Gift-Shopping Card available in various denominations (ranging from Rs. 100 to Rs. 1000) from retailers and load the amount printed on the card in his/her account simply by calling the Beam IVR (Interactive Voice Response System) or using an SMS – much like mobile prepaid recharge top-up. Just this and the customer is all set to avail of these Beam services anytime, from anywhere:

    * Shopping: Pay restaurant bills and retailers. No need to carry money or credit card or be present        at the shop for making payments. Ideal for home delivery too.

    * Utility Bills: Telephone, electricity, water bills etc. can be paid from the comfort of your office or        home, without the pain and inconvenience of visiting the utility biller’s office.

What Will Be The Sources Of Income For The Beam Sahayak?
The Beam Sahayak can have the following sources of income:

• Commission on Providing Micro-credit Services (disbursing micro-loans to borrowers and remitting their repayments via SMS)
