What To Do If I Forget My SPIN?
SPIN is equivalent to the signature and authority of a person hence requires extreme care. If you forget SPIN due to any reason, you shall have to apply to Suvidha on form (STS) which needs to be posted via courier/registered post along with:
- Proof of identity & address: i.e. (any of the following having you photograph, name and address) Proof of Identity & Address: Passport, Driver’s License, Election ID Card, Income Tax PAN Card, Ration Card with Photo, Bank/Post Office Certificate with Photo, Insurance/ESIC Card, Defence Services Personnel Discharge Book; For Students: College Photo ID Card. In case address is not contained on the identity document, supplementary document (from above) for address is recommended.
- Proof of ownership of the mobile number: by way of a Xerox copy of your latest mobile bill in case you have Post Paid connection. If you have a prepaid connection, certificate from your telecom operator certifying the mobile phone number belongs to your name. After receipt of the above, Suvidha shall reset your SPIN, generate a new one which will be printed on a security cover and posted to via registered post to the address printed on your mobile phone bill/telecom operator certificate. NOTE: Processing charge of Rs.50 needs to sent by way of Postal Order or Demand Draft favouring Suvidha Starnet (P) Ltd payable at New Delhi. In case you have sufficient balance, Suvidha can also deduct the same from your Beam Subscriber account.
